Create a Task
A workflow is needed to grow and improve your chatbot service. You can create tasks, assign them to team members, view your own tasks, and mark them as complete when finished.
In the following step-by-step example, we will :-
- Create a general task
- Create a related task
- View related tasks from an Intent, Session, or User Input within a Session
Create a general Task
From any page, click Tasks in the Platform Header and select Create Task from the menu
Enter in the sidebar -
Task Name Name the task
Task Description (optional) Describe the task
Assignee Assign to a team member, yourself, or leave unassigned
Priority Select a priority from High, Medium, or Low. Defaults to Medium.
Advanced Options Relate the task to a Session ID, Intent ID or User Input ID This is auto-filled when the task is created when an intent, session, or turn is selected (see Create a related task below)
Click Create Task to save your new task
The new task will be created and, if it's assigned to you, it will be added to the task counter next to Tasks at the top-right.
